Hello my dears! (There is a French and a Romanian version of this article) I perfectly know you are all waiting for the photos from the Amalfi Coast but instead, I am going to be talking about Uni stuff 😀 . I promise the next post will be about my vacay although I will already be studying. By the way, do you prefer me to begin with Positano or Capri? Maybe Amalfi? Let me know in the comments below.
This post should have been live earlier because I am sure most of you have already started school but for me, the beginning of September was about beaches and not studies)) Now that I am home, I can get back on track and think about the upcoming new year of university. Some of you have asked me about my studies, so keep on reading if you’re interested 🙂 .
Where do I start? Maybe from the fact that I am 20 and only beginning to study in an university. You probably wonder why…well, because I came to Switzerland when I was 15, took a preparatory class where I have studied french during a year and then went to a « normal » high school where I have studied for 4 years in order to go to the uni now. I think you should reread the last sentence if you really want to understand it 😀 . If I had stayed in my country, I would have been in the 3rd year of uni. As you can see, the Swiss system made me « loose » some years. Nevertheless, I don’t regret it, I feel like I gained so much knowledge during this time. I am just so grateful I have the opportunity to study in this country and there is no place I would rather be, honestly.
Now let’s talk about the fact that since I came to Switzerland, I have been enjoying every class, that’s why I never had a clear vision of what I wanted to do, nor what I was going to become. At first, I was thinking about journalism. Then, I switched to science so I was thinking about biological engineering. Hmm, nope, none of these suited me. Now, I am confidently and proudly announcing that I am going to be a computer scientist, « if God wills it » 😀 . I’ll probably be only girl studying computer science but never mind, I am always in favour of breaking stereotypes about women in science. So, for the next 5 years, you can find me on the EPFL’s (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) campus, most probably in the library 😉 .
Oh it’s going to be tough, I can feel it. Being a perfectionist, it will be incredibly hard to keep my blog and my studies at the best level possible. It will be all about putting principles aside, sacrifices, hard work and motivation. I am so ready for the adventure and full of excitement over what life has to offer!
Two more words about this particular post. I made some photos for Slickcase and decided to show them to you as well. I chose a marble package from them and I truly like the products I received. It includes a MacBook Hardshell Matte Case which fully covers your computer, a Multi-Color Keyboard Cover which provides protection against dusts, spills, etc. and a Screen Protector. I also got an iPhone case and I totally love it! Not only do these cases look good, their quality is also highly satisfactory. I am sure that if my Mac had had this case on, it wouldn’t have a broken screen now.
